Design Mom is worth your while

I'm always surprised by the girth of the Parentsphere (Yes, parentsphere. Blogosphere is too general) I thought I was pretty well acquainted with online parenting sites after writing here for nearly a year, but, no. I am learning every day about worthwhile new sites.Design Mom is one such site. I met Gabrielle, the creator of the site, at BlogHer in New York and was immediately struck by her style, elegance, and confidence. And her site is just like her.
Design Mom is a beautifully designed site filled with whimsical activities for kids, excellent tips, and quality giveaways. I spent some time yesterday on her"10 fave posts" section and have bookmarked all of them. I now know how to make pretty recycled crayons, how to get Sharpie pen marks off ultrasuede couches, and I have a new kid's book to covet.
Yesterday Gabrielle announced a giveaway in partnership with the awesome Mahar Dry Goods. The prize is adorable and the rules are easy: just go over and leave a comment.Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
