School in total chaos
When you hear about your child's day at school, I'm pretty sure the word you don't want to hear is "chaotic." Well, that's exactly what some parents in Perkins Township, Ohio are hearing about their children's day at school. Teachers had a vote of "no confidence" in the administration, students climbed out of high school windows and eight security guards were fired after failing background checks. And, you know, the teachers were on strike.
Several high school students described the scene as one of "chaos" where students talked on phones, watched TV and played card games inside the school. At 12:15, 19 students with parental excuses left the building, making the school go on lock down for safety.
Once that was over, police officers were placed at doors to stop students from leaving. At that point, four girls climbed out a window to freedom.
What did those students have to say about the school year? Last year was better organized.
